Wilson Pro Painting – Rooted in Tradition
Wilson Pro Painting is a professional painting company that was inspired by the story of Walter Wilson, grandfather of our founder Jamie Wilson. Walter was a painter in England back in the mid 1900s who worked for the city of Hull as a painter. His work ethic, drive, and attention to detail were noticed by many of his customers.
After being a POW during WWII, Walter was unable to pass his driver’s test so he rode his bike everywhere in the community to work as a painter. Every morning he would travel to his worksite with a brush in his back pocket, a couple paint cans over the handlebars, while carrying a ladder under his arm.
We believe the story of Walter Wilson is an example of strong values, steadfast dedication, and doing what it takes to get the job done right. Jamie Wilson is proud to carry on these values and his family’s legacy.

Julian and his crew did an excellent job painting the exterior of my character home. They were incredibly hard-working, efficient, and professional. They showed great attention to detail, were careful around my garden plants, and cleaned up after themselves every day. I really appreciated how organized and communicative Julian was. He provided me with daily updates and made sure that I was pleased with how the job was progressing.
His crew exuded such positive, upbeat energy, and it was a real pleasure to have them around.

These guys have great work ethic, a ‘can do’ attitude, and positive character PLUS… they know their paint and process for tough jobs!! We are happy to discuss with anyone our Victoria vintage house experience with these guys who completed work at the 40′ level above ground on a 60 degree roof!! Impressive!!

Julian and Frank and the whole crew just finished painting the exterior of our house and it looks great! Every single person on the crew was hard working, pleasant to interact with, and careful doing their work. Julian and Frank are super nice, have great communication, and care about the quality of their work and customer satisfaction.
The crew showed up to start when they said they would and worked all day every day til the job was done.
They cleaned up daily, clarified colours during the job whenever needed, and quickly did last minute fixes at the end of the job after the walk around. Our neighbours mentioned they appreciated that there was no loud music or bad language or loud disturbances during the job (some folks are sensitive to that) and we 100% trusted the team that was here and enjoyed having them.
2 other neighbours had them paint this summer too and were also super happy with them and we’re so glad we saw their lawn sign and called them! 1000% recommend!!!
