Wilson Pro Painting is a professional painting company that was inspired by the story of Walter Wilson, grandfather of our founder Jamie Wilson. Walter was a painter in England back in the mid 1900s who worked for the city of Hull as a painter. His work ethic, drive, and attention to detail were noticed by many of his customers.
After being a POW during WWII, Walter was unable to pass his driver's test so he rode his bike everywhere in the community to work as a painter. Every morning he would travel to his worksite with a brush in his back pocket, a couple paint cans over the handlebars, while carrying a ladder under his arm.
We believe the story of Walter Wilson is an example of strong values, steadfast dedication, and doing what it takes to get the job done right. Jamie Wilson is proud to carry on these values and his family's legacy through our network of local franchise locations today.
