By accessing or using our website (located at wilsonpropainting.ca), requesting an estimate, or scheduling services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Services

Wilson Pro Painting operates as a franchise network across Western Canada. Each franchise location is an independently owned and operated business entity. While we maintain national quality control standards and supplier agreements, contracts for residential and commercial painting services are entered into directly between you and the respective regional franchisee (e.g. Wilson Pro Painting Langley, Wilson Pro Painting South Alberta).

2. Estimates and Proposals

Estimates provided through our online forms, by phone, or during site visits are based on visible conditions and details provided at the time of inspection.

• Upfront Proposals: Franchisees will provide a detailed, written proposal outlining the scope of work, surface preparation parameters, paint product lines (such as Sherwin-Williams or Dulux), and total cost.
• Fixed Pricing: The price quoted in your written contract is the final price for that defined scope. Any amendments or additional work requested during the project (e.g., painting extra doors or trim) will require a signed change order and may incur additional fees.
• Unforeseen Conditions: We are not responsible for hidden structural issues, such as underlying drywall moisture, electrical hazards, or rot beneath siding, that were not visible during the original inspection. Repair of these issues is not included in standard painting contracts unless specified.

3. Three-Year Workmanship Warranty

We stand behind our application quality. Under our national standards, qualified residential painting services are covered by a written 3-year limited workmanship warranty:

• Coverage: The warranty covers paint bubbling, peeling, or blistering due to application errors (such as insufficient sanding, priming, or damp application) for a period of three (3) years from project completion.
• Exclusions: The warranty does not cover issues resulting from structural settling, wood rot, mechanical abrasion, water damage from roof/plumbing leaks, moisture condensation, or normal wear and tear on horizontal walking surfaces (such as deck floorboards).
• Claims: To submit a warranty claim, please contact your local franchise manager directly or email info@wilsonpropainting.ca. The franchisee will inspect the surfaces and arrange repairs for qualified areas at no cost to you.

4. Payments and Deposits

Payment terms are set by individual franchise locations and will be detailed in your service proposal. Generally, a deposit may be required to secure your project slot, with the final balance due upon project completion and walkthrough sign-off. Payments can be made via credit card, check, or electronic transfer, depending on local franchisee options.

5. Text / SMS Messaging Terms

By checking the SMS consent box on our estimate forms, you agree to receive transactional text messages from Wilson Pro Painting and our local franchise managers:

• Transactional Use: Text messages will be restricted to scheduling site visits, confirming appointment times, sending digital estimates, and coordinating project logistics.
• Opt-Out: You can unsubscribe from text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive. Standard carrier data and messaging rates may apply.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wilson Pro Painting and its franchise partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from website use or service execution. Every franchise holds active general commercial liability insurance and WCB coverage to protect clients and workers during on-site operations.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or website use shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
