Before beginning any exterior paint project our painters will thoroughly clean all surfaces. We use a combination of pressure washing, hand-washing or a simple hose down, depending on the amount of dirt and grime present on the surface that we are painting. We include Tri-Sodium Phosphate (TSP), (a phosphate free, environmentally friendly version is available), is incorporated into our wash to clean surfaces to be painted, followed by a thorough rinse. This is designed to remove flaking paint, dirt build-up, chalking, mildew and moss.

Next we scrape and/or wire brush all existing flaking paint. We will sand edges to smooth ridges created from scraping, then wipe all dust from surface. Finally, we will caulk and fill seams, cracks and joints in siding, stucco, trim etc. to prevent moisture infiltration and repairs holes in wood or stucco.
